the year is 2012 and, as the mayans have predicted, the apocalypse has taken place. though, not in the form they once prophesized.
years ago the american government preformed an experiment. the reason why was never uncovered. after all, what could be the point of combining animal and human DNA? so we can live longer? so we can have heightened senses? whatever the reason, they succeeded. however, the thousands of people that put themselves in line to acquire this new strand of DNA had no idea what it would ultimately do to them.
instead of just heightening their senses, some weeks after they were implanted with this DNA, they started making changes. not even at will. at first it just started on full moons, when the tide was low, when the tide was high, at the change of the season--whenever the environment called for a change. these humans found they changed forms; turned into whatever creature they had chosen the DNA from. imagine the chaos this brought on the world. but the government was adamant...and there was no reversing. you signed your life away to an experimental procedure.
and then, on january first, 2012, at exactly twelve in the morning, every testing facility for this new strand of gene exploded. no rhyme, no reason--the second the ball dropped, they all went up into fireworks and flames. with every noxious chemical mingling in the air, it brought a plague upon the world. spread through the air, and through carriers, this virus spread, wiping out every human in it's wake. no one was safe--save for those people that had been spliced with animals. the reason for this is still unknown.
so welcome to a world where humans are animals and animals are humans. a fresh beginning and a new start at life, a subtly enhanced life. is this a blessing or a curse? well, you'll just have to find out for yourself.

We do ask family members to follow these suggestions:
We do not encourage you to contact your loved one. This could affect their progress here at Sterling Rehab Center. There is no need to worry about them, since they will be under the best care. If you do send letters or care packages, they will be taken from our patients to be evaluated and we can confiscate them if we decide that your letters and care packages will harm the peace and tranquility that we are trying to maintain here at Sterling. There are no visiting hours here at Sterling. This will also disrupt the environment we are trying to build here. This also ensures your safety, since some of our patients can get out of hand if provoked.
We will notify family members when their loved ones are ready to leave the facility and slowly adjust to a normal life. Do not try to take your loved one out of Sterling because it can ruin all the hard work our staff has made to help our patients.
Sometimes our patients manage to obtain a phone and may say some disturbing things about our facility, such as how we’re torturing them. Sometimes the medications we give our patients give them hallucinations so there is no need to worry about how we treat our patients. There is no need to worry, since we give our patients the best of care.

Patients serving mandatory timefor their crimes can only be released after staying at the minmum of what the staff members suggest them to, and must have a record of good and clean behavior There is no exact sentence, it varies from person to person and when they come out of it - they will be a new, and better citizen entirely. There will be some social interactions between patients but under close guidance.

massachusetts, home of the boston red sox! when you think of boston many things may come to mind. some of them may be g- reat and others may not be so great, but everyone has their own view on the city even if they don't live there. only what about th- ose people who do live in the wonderful city of boston? well, you may find that they feel the same way you do about the city or you may just be surprised. for many who moved there thought it wou- ld be a nice place to start a family and being their lives. however, what you don't know is that boston isn't really as wonderful as y- ou may have thought it would be. no matter how big the town or how small every town has their secrets and boston is no different. this time though, it isn't so much the town but the people who liv- e inside of it. everyone has secrets and everyone knows that nothing can stay hidden forever. no matter who you are or where you live, secrets come out and the longer you wait the worse it is.

In 1790 a group of men. One wizard, one vampire, one werewolf, and two humans came together to decided the creation of the United States Magically Inclined. In that night in February of 1790 the birth of the USMI was created to help create a world for the Magically capable, and super natural creatures in the land of the free and all its allied nations. Since then a creation of sub-orders was made to accommodate and further understand of the Blood War and the growing breeds that came from the constant battle between the two. Vampire, Wizard, Werewolf, all combine together in one world to help keep the human world save from the demons that want to violate those laws in place to prevent a war between the worlds.
The Allied Nations have come to include, over the years, all the nations from Asia to Canadian. Covering all the major Nations of the world and the creatures that wish to create a more peaceful life with humans.

If you thought all the drama happened in New York and La, well you thought wrong. On the southern coast of florida lies miami -where the nightlife is hot and the people even hotter. this of course rings true for the students. Of course most of them are comprised of the privileged teens of miami and surrounding area, but there are a few of the not so rich and famous attending the school. But what really holds the interest of the students, it's lavish hotels, amazing restaurants and energetic nightclubs, there's plenty of trouble for these spoiled teens to get into. In addition to the already buzzing atmostphere of miami, there's bound to be some drama going around. Cliques just add to that drama factor with their cut throat nature. Make sure you're not hanging with the wrong clique, because if you get too cozy with a rival, you'll be dropped like a bad habit. But remember, you will always have you Best day in Miami.
I don't know why all the trees change in the fall, I know you're not scared of anything at all. Don't know why if Snow white's house is near or far away, but I know that I had the Best day with you, today... welcome to st. augustine's institution - otherwise known as hell. you must have done some pretty bad things to end up here. this is where the worst of the worst are sent. it's supposed to be a correctional institution, but that's about as far from the truth as it gets. the patients here are nothing more than murders, rapists, thieves, addicts, depressive, and all are out to get you. good luck surviving.

welcome to supernatural academy, school of extraordinary powers
one of the longest standing schools in history - over one thousand years - this school was created to teach those of supernatural powers. taught to control their powers as well as enhance them, students are able to learn a normal life as well as an alternate one - one of extreme force.
anyone who can fly, burn, heal, soothe, morph, or control element of natural are welcome. almost a mark of registration to the academy, when a boy or girl is born with powers, a mark - some call it a birthmark, others a scar or tattoo - appears on the child's left wrist. the mark (a dark, full star) is also the school's symbol, and once a child is chosen, nothing can stop it.
so enter if you dare - you never know what follows.
in 2001, iraq attacked america. in 2015, president obama pulled all american troops from iraq. in 2025, the third world war broke out. in 2060, the war was over, america had won.
now in the year 2064, the american people are in the fight to bring their country back. after being hit by numerous bombs and attacks, it was left in a hep of damage. being only four years after the war had ended, they have yet to completely rebuild the country they love. it was the larger cities and the cities with military bases in them that go hit the most. america lost over 500,000 people in the war. when if broke out they started heading to canada and mexico, as they were neutral in the war. though the war took major hurt to the large cities, there was one city in general that lost everything. in the small town of cherryville, north carolina, the disaster was worse. it was a town with barely five thousand people at the time of the war, now it is a town half that size. this small town has caught the view and eye of many people all over the country, even the view of the 50th president of the united states, mrs. roberta lincoln. now, in a very strong effort, they are helping rebuild the small city in this time of need. after a few long months of building, the town is now complete. new everything. new high school, middle school, town hall, fire station. anything you could think of that was once standing tall before the war is now back. cherryville, north carolina is ready for a new start and to build their population back up.

a place for the rich and the famous, the bold and the beautiful. the same goes for the prestigious Parker Prep, school to many of the beautifully rich, trust fund kids. located on manhattan upper east side, Parker Prep is the 'it' school for all the teenagers who have class and wealth.
among the student body here at Parker Prep, it confirmed that there are many different cliques of people. the populars, commonly known as the 'royalty', the bookworms, the jocks and the loners. everyone has their place in the school, or so they think.
GOSSIP CAN KILL.
but you alone have your own destiny among the crowd. that's what 'gossip girl' would say. oh, didn't we mention? oh yea, be careful. with money and popularity comes responsibility. and believe me, 'gossip girl' will know. she has the power to make or break you and your prefect little world, all she needs is a computer and the people willing to read the gossip.
behind all the glitz and glam, these teenagers are just that, teenagers. teenagers surrounded by the money to get or get away with anything they want. at least they hope so.
